Dossiê: Ressonâncias da Bíblia na literatura

Ao longo dos séculos XX e XXI inúmeras obras como, por exemplo, a que foi intitulada The Great Code: The Bible and Literature (1982), de Northrop Frye, e que se tornou clássica, demonstram a importância dos textos bíblicos na formação da cultura literária do mundo. Com o objetivo dar continuidade às reflexões que se animam em  problematizar as faces das incomensuráveis interconexões estabelecidas entre os textos bíblicos e os textos do vasto mundo da literatura, o presente dossiê deseja acolher contribuições que problematizem obras literárias (poemas, romances, textos teatrais etc.) nas quais a presença dos textos bíblicos seja matéria das suas respectivas poéticas.

Dossier: Ressonances of the Bible in Literature

Throughout the 20th and 21st centuries, numerous works — such as the now-classic The Great Code: The Bible and Literature (1982) by Northrop Frye — have demonstrated the significance of biblical texts in shaping the world’s literary culture. Aiming to continue the ongoing reflections that seek to explore and problematize the vast and complex interconnections between biblical texts and the broader realm of literature, this dossier welcomes contributions that critically examine literary works (poems, novels, plays, etc.) in which the presence of biblical texts plays a central role in their respective poetics.
