COSTS: IMPORTANT MANAGEMENT PRACTICES IN A RETAIL ORGANIZATION

Abstract

This study sought to identify the management practices of logistics costs used by a retail company. It was a descriptive and exploratory research, and data collection was done an interview with the logistics operator of a single company, ie a single case study research. The results showed a gap in the literature regarding the most appropriate practices for the management of logistics costs, however, a certain grip on the use of DPP technique was identified as the most suitable for retail trade.
